Adam gets drunk because of Vanessa, his ex, has entered into a relationship with his father who happens to be a former star.

This leads to Adam calling all the women he has on his phone for a hookup. In the morning, however, as he wakes up, he finds that he had sent text to Emma and reached her place that she shares with few other residents and Patrice, her best buddy. Emma takes Adam inside her bedroom for retrieving his pants but both of them end up having sex.

One and a half months later, Adam’s script is being filmed which leads him to regular writing job, the credit of which going to Lucy, show creator’s top assistant. She is attracted to Adam. On the other side, Emma is now distraught that Adam is not there and to make matters worse, it is her sister’s wedding the following day and a new boyfriend arrives with her widowed mother.
